Node.js 20 introduces permissions model
This article highlights an experimental feature that released with NodeJS 20 that allows you to control resource access during code execution. An example of this would be only allowing code to be executed against a specific filesystem and nowhere else. It also mentions some other cool features that were released.
Amazon’s quiet open source revolution
Historically Amazon, more specifically AWS, hasn’t been at the forefront of contributing back to the open-source community it greatly benefits from. That’s beginning to change apparently, and this article takes a brief but information packed walk through that change. Changes are happening within AWS, changes for the better, in my opinion!
